Trotterglobe is a young company, founded by Viviana Cordero (Costa Rica) and Martin Schuijt (Netherlands). After travelling the world, not only did we fall in love with each other, but also each others' country heritage. With local expertise about specialized tourism, we would like to show you the best our destinations has to offer, fully customized to your needs and budget. adventure, food and wellness experiences in Costa Rica.

Martin Schuijt

  • Born (1980) and raised in Alkmaar, The Netherlands.
  • Lived most of my life in Amsterdam, briefly in New York, USA, and since 2018 in San José, Costa Rica.
  • Degrees in Communication Science (MSc.) and Corporate Social Responsibility (Certificate).
  • Background as communication- and business consultant & project manager for various (multinational) companies.
  • Sports fanatic, especially MTB, football, yoga and running.
  • Avid world traveler; visited 58 countries.
Viviana Cordero
  • Born (1984) and raised in San José, CR, lived in Sarapiquí, Costa Rica.
  • Environmental business (MBA) & Tourism (BSc) degree.
  • Background as travel & communication consultant, hotel management and sustainability projects.
  • Worked for Costa Rican hotels (in Sarapiquí, La Fortuna, San José), the Organization for Tropical Studies and a worldwide cooperative and social impact investor.
  • Food lover, rooted in a real tico coffee-family.
